KinFit Terms of Service
Effective date: July 2, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and KinFit ("we," "us") governing your use of the KinFit app. By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use KinFit. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and don't impersonate anyone.
2. User content and zero tolerance for abuse
KinFit lets you post content visible to your groups: posts, comments, reactions, encouragement notes, group names, and profile information ("User Content").
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on KinFit. This includes harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, sexually explicit material, spam, and any illegal content. We may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account, at our sole discretion and without notice, for violating this policy.
Reporting and blocking. You can report any content or user from within the app, and block any user (Settings → Blocked users to manage blocks). We review reports promptly — objectionable content will be removed and offending users ejected within 24 hours of a report being reviewed.
Your license to us. You own your User Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit it as needed to operate the app (for example, showing your post to your group).
3. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no unauthorized access attempts, no scraping, no interfering with the service, no using the app to violate any law, and no circumventing blocks, rate limits, or moderation.
4. Health and fitness disclaimer
KinFit is a fitness tracking and social motivation tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Information in the app (including activity, sleep, and progress data) is for general informational purposes only. Consult a physician before beginning any exercise program. You use the app and undertake physical activity at your own risk.
5. The service
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We work to keep the service available and your data safe but can't guarantee uninterrupted service.
6. Termination
You can stop using KinFit and delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
8. Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app. Continuing to use KinFit after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
